Poroshenko: I think we are close to formation of new coalition, new government
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is optimistic regarding resolving the political crisis in the country.
"I think we are very close to this," the president said at a press conference in Washington, asked by Interfax-Ukraine.
The head of state added he is quite optimistic in this regard and looks forward to good news regarding resolving the crisis soon.
"We have time by the end of week and I expect that after we return we'll be able to make a relevant statement about the formation of a new coalition and a new government," Poroshenko said.
He noted that "the matter concerns not weeks but days and even hours."
