Klimkin cancels visit to Estonia due to "internal political situation in Ukraine"
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin's visit to Estonia on March 28-29 has been cancelled, the Estonian Foreign Ministry's press service told Interfax on Tuesday.
The visit was cancelled in connection with the "internal political situation in Ukraine," the source said.
In Tallinn, Klimkin was scheduled to meet with Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Speaker of the Parliament Eiki Nestor, and Prime Minister Taavi Roivas.
The Ukrainian foreign minister also planned to meet with his Estonian counterpart Marina Kaljurand.
Such issues as Estonian-Ukrainian bilateral relations, the situation in Ukraine's east, reforms in Ukraine, integration into the European Union and both countries' cooperation within international organizations were on the agenda of the visit.
