Poroshenko: 180 National Guard members killed in Donbas

As many as 180 Ukrainian National Guard members have been killed during the military operation in the southeastern part of Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko said.

"We remember and honor the memory of each of the 180 National Guard members who have given their lives for our independence, our sovereignty, and our territorial integrity," Poroshenko said at the National Guard's training center in the Kyiv region on Saturday.

The National Guard was set up in Ukraine soon after the start of the military operation in Donbas.
