Savchenko interrupts sentencing by singing Ukrainian folk song
Ukrainian woman Nadia Savchenko has prevented the presiding judge at the Donetsk city court from announcing the prison term imposed on her by singing a Ukrainian folk song.
When judge Leonid Stepanenko was about to announce what penalty the defendant, in his view, deserves, Savchenko started loudly singing a Ukrainian folk song, an Interfax correspondent reported from the courtroom.
The court announced a break due to the impossibility of continuing to deliver the verdict.
