Brussels insists that Ukrainian citizen Savchenko be released
The European Union's standpoint on the case of Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko remains unwavering after the court has handed down a guilty verdict, the EU Delegation to Moscow said on Monday.
"The EU insists that Savchenko be released despite the guilty verdict," the EU delegation told Interfax.
It underscored that 'the illegal detention' of Savchenko was at variance with the Minsk agreements.
