The Ukrainian representative in the political subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas, people's deputy from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction Iryna Heraschenko has been denied entry to the Russian Federation until 2021.
According to the information on the official website of the Solidarity party, this was announced by an official of the Federal Security Service of Russia at the Milove/Chertkovo checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Russian border.
"We with a group of deputies, together with Sviatoslav Tseholko [the press secretary of the Ukrainian president] have been kept waiting here for three hours. And then the service officers said I am denied entry to Russia until 2021," Heraschenko said in comments to the Ukrainska Pravda edition.
According to her, they with Tseholko were going to Donetsk court (Rostov region) on the trial of Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko by the order of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
