Flight recorders from plane that crashed in Rostov found - adviser to Russian transport minister
Emergency services have found the flight recorders from a Flydubai Boeing passenger plane that crashed at the Rostov-on-Don airport on Saturday morning, Zhanna Terekhova, and adviser to the Russian transport minister, said on the Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television channel.
"The plane's black boxes have been found, and therefore a decision on when to analyze them will be made as early as today. It's going to be clear after that what happened to the plane and whether a pilot error or weather conditions are to blame," Terekhova said.
Search and rescue teams have found the second flight data recorder at the crash site of a Flydubai Boeing at the Rostov-on-Don airport, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said.
"The second recorder has been found. Specialists are examining it," Markin told Interfax on Saturday.
