National artist of Ukraine Les Taniuk dies

The chairman of the Union of Theatrical Personalities of Ukraine, film and theater director and People's Artist of Ukraine Les Taniuk has died, the presidential representative in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, MP from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction Stepan Kubiv, has said.

"The passing away of Les Taniuk on March 18, 2016 leaves everybody who knew him - in person or in absentia – with a senses of loss," Kubiv wrote on his Facebook page.
