Rada to revise bill allowing transfer of seized funds to budget
The authors of bill No. 4057 on sending seized funds of suspected corrupt individuals to the state budget have agreed to resubmit the revised measure, Petro Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary head Yuriy Lutsenko said in Kyiv on Wednesday. Lutsenko added that the wording in the original bill was unclear.
As reported earlier, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman failed six times to put bill No. 4057, on amending the Criminal Code of Ukraine in part of the specifics of making the funds, valuable and income from them as national budget revenue before court issues verdicts, and bill No. 3196, on amending some Ukrainian laws related to inevitability of punishment for people who have committed grievous crimes, on the voting agenda on Tuesday.
