Pamfilova asks Federal Penitentiary Service, Donetsk City Court to let Ukrainian doctors visit Savchenko
Russian Human Rights Ombudsperson Ella Pamfilova has asked Federal Penitentiary Service Director Gennady Korniyenko and the Donetsk City Court to permit Nadia Savchenko's examination by Ukrainian doctors, the ombudsperson's press service told Interfax.
"On March 14, Russian Human Rights Ombudsperson Ella Pamfilova sent formal requests to Russian Federal Penitentiary Service Director Gennady Korniyenko and the Donetsk City Court in the Rostov region for being humane and allowing a commission of Ukrainian doctors to examine Nadia Savchenko at the 77th infirmary of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service in the near future," the press service said.
