Ukrtransnaftoprodukt managers, founders being searched - Sakvarelidze

The offices and apartments of the leadership and the founders of state enterprise Ukrtransnaftoprodukt are being searched within an investigation into criminal proceedings on the fact of theft of petroleum products, Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Odesa region prosecutor Davit Sakvarelidze has said.

"At the moment, the prosecutors and the police of Odesa region are carrying out searches in the offices and apartments of both former and incumbent heads and founders of Ukrtransnaftoprodukt, as well as other related businesses in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Korosten, Mykolaiv and Kherson," he wrote on his Facebook page.

Sakvarelidze also said the court seized more than UAH 100 million, which were obtained from the sale of these petroleum products.
