Maryinka checkpoint reopens on contact line in Donbas
The Maryinka checkpoint on the contact line in Donetsk region, which was shut down in the middle of February because of shelling incidents, has reopened.
"In line with a decision of the ATO command, the Maryinka checkpoint resumed its operation today," the Ukrainian State Border Service said on Monday.
Eighty vehicles arrived in the Maryinka checkpoint on Monday morning for moving in, and 70 were waiting to move out, it said.
The Zaitseve checkpoint, which was shut down amid intense gunfire, reopened on February 20, the State Border Service said earlier.
In all, five checkpoints - Maryinka, Zaitseve, Novotroitske, Hnutove and Stanytsia Luhanska - are currently working on the contact line.
