NATO, Ukraine to cooperate in special operations – Ukrainian General Staff
A NATO delegation, led by Commander of the NATO Special Operations Headquarters Lt. Gen. Marshall Webb, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff have signed a letter of intent for cooperation in special operations, Ukrainian General Staff Chief Viktor Muzhenko has said.
"As a result of the talks, a letter of intent for cooperation in the sphere of special operations was signed between the NATO Special Operations Headquarters and the Armed Forces General Staff of Ukraine," Muzhenko wrote on his Facebook account on Friday.
He said that the NATO delegates' major goal is to familiarize themselves with the process of the formation of special operations forces in Ukraine and assist in the formation and development of these forces.
