Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin has tendered his resignation, the online publication Ukrayinska Pravda said citing its own sources.
"Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin has tendered his resignation," Ukrayinska Pravda reported on Tuesday evening.
At the same time, the online publication lb.ua (Livy Bereh, or Left Bank) said with reference to its own sources that Shokin had resigned as early as on Tuesday morning.
Interfax-Ukraine could not immediately obtain confirmation of these reports.
