Militants hold about 130 Ukrainians captive – SBU chief
Militants hold around 130 Ukrainian citizens in captivity in certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Chief of the Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) Vasyl Hrytsak said.
"In the regard to hostages the number changes daily. We counted around 130 people," Hrytsak told journalists on Tuesday in Kyiv.
He added that the SBU had enough information on the whereabouts of the Ukrainian soldiers.
"On many occasions, we know about places where our guys, our fighters, are kept. We have numerous evidences from the detainees, who were together with them," SBU chief said.
"We know that Motorola [so-called commander of Donetsk People's Republic's separate intelligence battalion; Russian citizen] shot dead one of our fighters and this episode was included into a relevant criminal case," Hrytsak added.
