MPs to present Verkhovna Rada's modernization program in European parliament – Groysman

Ukrainian parliamentarians will present the Verkhovna Rada's modernization program during the Ukrainian week in the European parliament, Speaker Volodymyr Groysman has said.

"The Action Plan [on modernization of the parliament's operation] will be presented during the Ukrainian week in the European parliament held in late February or early March," he said on Rada TV on Friday.

He said that at present the work on technical modernization of the parliament that would make the operation of the Verkhovna Rada, its committees and services more transparent is going on.

He said that the needs assessment mission of the European Parliament headed by Pat Cox is working in the parliament.
