PACE to send monitoring mission to Ukraine early Feb
Co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on the honoring of obligations and commitments by Ukraine will visit the country from 1 to 3 February, the press service of the PACE reported on Friday.
The press service said that J ordi Xucl a (Spain) and Axel Fischer (Germany) are due to meet the Ukrainian president, the first deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, the deputy prime minister and minister of regional development, construction, housing and utilities as well as the justice and foreign ministers.
Meetings are also scheduled with the chairman of the parliamentary committee on corruption prevention and counteraction, the head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, and with representatives of political parties, NGOs and the diplomatic community.
