SBU seizes servers from Adamant provider's service platform - SBU
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has seized servers from the service platform of Adamant provider to examine them in a case on preventing operation of the international hackers' group, SBU spokesperson Olena Hytlianska has reported.
Hytlianska wrote on her Facebook page that SBU jointly with foreign law enforcing agencies is taking measures to stop operation of an international hackers' group.
"Servers were seized from the provider's service platform to examine them, record a crime and implement a request of foreign law enforcing agencies to provide legal assistance in a criminal case. Investigation is underway," she said.
She said that one of the group's members is a Ukrainian citizen who was put on the international wanted list. He placed servers on the Adamant provider's service platform.
"Using servers the hacker seized funds from accounts of foreign financial institutions, spread malwares and did other things," she said.
