Association of Ukrainian Cities nominates Klitschko to head organization

The Board of the Association of Ukrainian Cities has recommended Mayor Vitali Klitschko to become the organization's head, Deputy Premier of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko wrote on his Facebook account.

A general meeting of the Association of Ukrainian Cities will take place in Kyiv on January 23.

Currently Yuriy Vilkul holds the aforementioned post.

Klitchko's nomination for association's head was favored by the majority of the departments of the Association of the Ukrainian Cities.
