Poroshenko hopes for development of modern European education in Ukraine
Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko expects the laws, which are required for the establishment of a modern European education in Ukraine, to be adopted this year.
"I believe that this year Ukraine will get a legislative framework for a modern European patriotic high-quality education," the president said opening a new school in the village of Sokoliv, Ternopil region, on Monday.
The president expressed his hope that the decentralization reform, which has started in the country, will help in the matter of construction of new schools and kindergartens.
He also noted that the new school in the village of Sokoliv should become a model on which other new facilities in Ukraine should be based.
