Iranian who was wanted by Germany through Interpol detained in Ukraine
Ukrainian border guards detained a citizen of Iran who had arrived from during a document check at the Boryspil airport (Kyiv).
The citizen of Iran was in the Interpol database and he was wanted by the German law enforcement agencies for the purpose of his arrest and subsequent extradition, the press service for the Ukrainian Border Guard Service has reported.
"The detainee is suspected of fraud and violation of the legislation on weapons control, which is punishable by up to 15 years in prison," the report says.
