Ukrainian Defense Ministry reports prevention of sabotage act at ammo depot in Kharkiv region

A sabotage attempt at an ammunition depot in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine was curbed in the early hours of Saturday, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reports.

"Unidentified individuals attempted to commit an act of sabotage at an ammunition depot located not far from the town of Balakliya in the Kharkiv region at about 3:00 a.m. today," the ministry said.

The sabotage attempt was prevented, it said.

A commission led by a deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian armed forces has been dispatched to find out the reasons and circumstances of the incident.

All arsenals have been put on alert, it said.
