PGO completes pre-trial investigation against ex-chief of Interior Ministry's police branch in Odesa region over May 2 events
Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) has completed a pre-trial investigation into the criminal case on suspicion of ex-chief of the Interior Ministry's main police branch in Odesa region into the criminal offences committed in Odesa on May 2, 2014.
Public liaisons office of the PGO said this on Friday.
As reported, Pechersky Court of Kyiv has accepted the demand of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) calling for former head of the Interior Ministry's police branch in Odesa region Petro Lutsiuk to be placed under house arrest, as he is suspected of negligence during the tragic events in Odesa on May 2, 2014.
