Some militants leave Kominternove, others change into civilian clothes or hiding at local residents' homes
Not all militants have left the village of Kominternove near Mariupol after the visit of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), some of them have changed into civilian clothes or are hiding at local residents' homes, spokesman for the presidential administration of Ukraine for ATO issues Andriy Lysenko has said.
"Yesterday, the main forces of militants fled the village of Kominternove. Also, the enemy's military hardware has been removed from there. This happened after another visit and at the request of the OSCE mission and through the efforts of the Ukrainian diplomacy. According to the latest information, a small number of militants remain in the village, hiding at homes of local residents or having disguised themselves as civilians," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
However, Lysenko stressed that the situation is still under full control of the ATO forces, which occupy a favorable position and have enough resources to respond to any moves of the adversary.
