Rada extends presence in Ukraine of Malaysian investigators looking into flight MH17 crash
The Ukrainian parliament, Verkhovna Rada, has ratified an agreement between Ukraine and Malaysia to prolong the two countries' accord allowing Malaysian investigators to work in Ukraine as part of the inquiry into the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash until August 18, 2016.
A bill ratifying this document was supported by 247 Ukrainian MPs in a vote held overnight into Friday, an Interfax correspondent has said.
It was reported that the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crewmembers on board.
