Verkhovna Rada supports government law optimizing social spending
The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a government law to optimize social spending, which is included in the package of the so called "budget laws" necessary for the adoption of the national budget of Ukraine for 2016.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, 228 deputies in the parliament at the third attempt supported the corresponding law on amendments to the legislation concerning the stabilization of the financial situation in the state and the improvement of certain provisions of the social policy (No. 3628).
The law, in particular, establishes that the indexation of income of the population is carried out if the value of the consumer price index exceeded the threshold of indexation in the amount of 103% (according to the current legislation, the figure is 101%).
