Kuchma expects 'Normandy Four' leaders to prolong Minsk accords in 2016
Kyiv's representative to the trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, has suggested that, during their telephone talks, the leaders of the 'Normandy format' countries should prolong the validity of the Minsk peace agreements for Ukraine into next year.
"I do not think that there will be any additional document. I believe that this problem will be resolved in the course of telephone talks [in the 'Normandy format'] this year in order to be able to continue working in this format," Kuchma told reporters in Kyiv on Thursday.
The 'Normandy Four' includes Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France.
