Ukraine, Israel agree on transport safety, cooperation in film industry
A number of agreements have been signed during a state visit of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to Israel.
"Today we have signed four agreements: on cooperation in the field of cinematography, an agreement on the introduction of work permits for employees of the diplomatic corps, a series of agreements relating to safety, including on transport," the Ukrainian president told journalists after the talks in Israel on Tuesday.
According to him, the two sides also agreed to step up cooperation in the field of air traffic between Ukraine and Israel. "We have agreed that in the near future we will sign an agreement that will give Ukrainian employees, primarily in the construction industry, the right work in Israel, it will provide jobs for thousands of Ukrainians," the president said.
Poroshenko noted that they also reached certain agreements on the development of joint projects in the agricultural sector.
