Russia's actions won't prevent implementation of FTA between Ukraine and EU - Klimkin
Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin has stated that neither the decree of the Russian president on the suspension of the agreement on a free trade area (FTA) between the CIS and Ukraine, nor the Russian government's resolution on response measures with regard to Ukraine will prevent the implementation of a FTA between Ukraine and the European Union.
"Consultations with Russia are getting more surreal: the decree, then the resolution of the Russian government. The FTA with the EU will start work from January 1 and nobody will prevent this," Klimkin wrote on his Twitter page.
