No Ukrainian servicemen have been killed, but two soldiers have been wounded in the Kyiv army operation area in Donbas in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian presidential administration spokesman Oleksandr Motuzianyk has said.
"Fortunately, none of our soldiers has been killed as a result of active fighting in the past 24 hours, but two of our servicemen have sustained wounds," he told a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
On the whole, tensions have escalated in the conflict area, where militia forces have used heavy weapons against the Ukrainian army on 12 occasions and two armed clashes have occurred, Motuzianyk said.
"More than half of all strikes focused on certain targets," he added.
