December 21 last chance to find common understanding between Kyiv-Brussels-Moscow on FTA – Juncker
The last chance for Ukraine and European Union to find a common understanding over Free Trade Are (FTA) will occur during the ministerial meeting of Russia-Ukraine-EU in Brussels on December 21, President of European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said.
"The ministerial meeting scheduled to take place here in Brussels on the 21st of December is the last chance, the last chance, to find a common understanding. All parties should come to the table in the spirit of finding mutually acceptable solutions within the given constraints," he told the journalists before Ukraine-EU mini-summit in Brussels on Wednesday evening.
Besides, he reiterated that the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area would enter into force on January 1 next year and "cannot be amended – neither directly nor indirectly."
