IMF in letter supports Cabinet decree regulating heat tariffs - Zubko
Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko has promulgated a letter from a representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and stated that the IMF agreed with the Cabinet decree regulating water supply and heat tariffs for the population.
"The IMF supported Cabinet resolution No. 630, which enables the population not to overpay for heat," Zubko commented on the letter.
The minister explained that "people will pay only for what they actually consumed," referring to the system of payment for heating depending on the actual heat consumption.
