Kyiv accused militants of more than ten provocations in Donbas overnight
Militants tried to provoke the Ukrainian military to return fire on 11 occasions overnight into Tuesday, a development that indicates a decline in the number of armed provocations, the press center of the Kyiv army operation in Donbas said on Tuesday.
However, militants' units continued to randomly fire small arms and grenade launchers at Ukrainian army positions in Pisky, Opytne and Avdiyivka, Kyiv claims.
Militants opened random fire on Luhanske near the town of Horlivka, using small arms, grenade launchers and large-caliber submachine guns. The militants also twice fired anti-tank guided missiles in the direction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions near this locality.
"There was no need for units of the anti-terrorist operation forces to open fire last night," the press center said.
