Tymoshenko calls on Batkivschyna members all over Ukraine to consolidate efforts to fight 'chaos and corruption'

Leader of the Batkivschyna Party Yulia Tymoshenko has stressed that the results of local elections show the growing support for political forces among the population and encouraged her team to unite for the sake of fighting corruption in Ukraine.

"I demand that our team, everybody who is in this room and across the country, should rebel against this and stop this chaos and corruption for the sake of our young people who shed blood on the fronts, for the future of our nation," Tymoshenko said, speaking at a meeting of local council deputies from the Batkivschyna Party in Kyiv.

She noted that the results of the local elections held on October 25 show the increase in the support of its political force by 3.4% compared to the parliamentary elections.

Tymoshenko also stressed that 33 newly elected urban and 469 rural and village heads are members of the Batkivschyna Party.
