Land forces will continue to firmly safeguard Ukraine's independence, territorial integrity - Poroshenko

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the military personnel and veterans of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday celebrated on December 12.

According to Poroshenko, the strength of infantry, tank, artillery, anti-aircraft gunners, helicopter pilots and members of other military specialties of the Land Forces were demonstrated during the anti-terrorist operation in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, "their devotion to duty and military oath has become a legend."

The president expressed belief that the Land Forces will continue to firmly safeguard the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
