Ukraine, Cyprus have great potential for development of bilateral relations – Groysman
Ukraine is interested in the further deepening of bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Cyprus, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has said at a meeting with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades.
"Our countries should further deepen cooperation, we have a great potential for the development of bilateral relations," Groysman said.
He noted that the current visit of the president of Cyprus is a landmark event in the development of a bilateral dialogue and better understanding between Ukraine and Cyprus, and expressed appreciation for the ratification by Cyprus of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
Groysman stressed that a visa-free regime is an important issue for millions of Ukrainians.
