Over 80 people arrested during special operation in Donetsk region - Ukrainian Security Service
Eighty-five people have been arrested during a special operation aimed at preventing terror attacks in the town of Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region, said a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU).
"The operation was conducted in a door-to-door method, consequently, 85 people have been arrested, presumably involved in activities of … the DPR/LPR [Donetsk/Luhansk People's Republics]," the spokesperson said.
The operation involved over 600 officers from the SBU, National Police, National Guard and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the spokesperson said.
Urgent operational and investigative activities are on going.
According to the Ukrainian National Statistics Committee, at the beginning of 2015, Krasnohorivka had a population of 15,800 people.
