Two Ukrainian servicemen killed in mine explosion in Donbas
Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another seven suffered injuries when their infantry combat vehicle hit a mine in Donbas on Wednesday, Ukrainian Presidential Administration spokesman for military issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk told Interfax.
"According to the preliminary information, two men were killed and seven suffered injuries of varying degrees in a mine explosion on Wednesday evening. The servicemen were travelling in an infantry combat vehicle," Motuzianyk said.
In turn, Odesa regional state administration head Mikheil Saakashvili said that one of the slain servicemen was Georgian volunteer Irakli Kutelia.
