Russia should pay greater price if it fails to fulfill Minsk agreements – Biden
Russia should pay a greater price if it fails to meet its obligations under the Minsk agreements, U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden has said.
If Russia does not meet its obligations, it should pay a greater price, and Russia will pay an even greater price for its illegal international actions, Biden said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk in Kyiv on Monday.
According to him, the U.S. is trying to consolidate international support for Ukraine and continues to hold international negotiations on this matter.
Biden noted that despite Russia's position, Ukraine must continue to perform the Minsk agreements. Russia does not fulfill its commitments and agreements, but the prime minister knows that Kyiv should meet these obligations, otherwise Europe will say" they are all the same, the U.S. vice president said.
