Russia must end its occupation of Crimea – Biden

U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden has said that Russia must end its occupation of sovereign territory of Ukraine – Crimea.

"Moscow eventually has to end its occupation of Ukraine's sovereign territory. Crimea remains a sovereign territory of Ukraine," he said at a joint briefing with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Monday.

Biden also underlined that the U.S. would never accept Russia's annexation of Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula.
