Policemen of Kyiv and region to be re-qualified by 2016, rest of Ukraine for six months – Dekanoidze
Staff of National Police of Kyiv and Kyiv region will be re-qualified by the end of 2015, and all over Ukraine – in half a year, National Police Chief Khatia Dekanoidze said.
"On December 28 a re-qualification –of policemen] in Kyiv and Kyiv region will be completed," she said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
Later on, Lviv and Khmelnytsky policemen will be re-qualified.
Talking about the final terms of the re-qualification all over Ukraine, she said that they strive for doing this within 100 days, but a maximal term is six months, when each employee will be appointed for a permanent position and will receive a new uniform," she reported.
"Of course the problems [during transitional period] will occur, but they will be settled step-by-step," she stressed.
