Poroshenko, Japanese PM discuss situation in eastern Ukraine
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has had a brief meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP21, the Ukrainian presidential press service reported on Monday.
According to the report, Poroshenko thanked Abe for Tokyo's position on support for Ukraine in the G7.
"The meeting participants discussed the development of the situation in Donbas and in Crimea. The Japanese prime minister assured the Ukrainian president that his country insists on full implementation by Russia of the Minsk agreements," the report says.
