Ukraine bans transit for all Russian airlines – Yatseniuk

The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers imposes a ban on transit flights in the Ukrainian air space for all Russian airlines without exceptions.

"I am asking the Infrastructure Ministry to take measures in accordance with international law to notify the Russian side of the closure of air space to all Russian airlines without exception and the halt of all transit transportation by Russian airlines," Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv on Wednesday.
