Syrian army rescues pilot from plane downed by Turkey – Russian ambassador to France
Syrian army servicemen have evacuated one of the two pilots from the Russian Sukhoi Su-24 aircraft shot down by the Turkish Air Force in Syria on Tuesday, Russian Ambassador to France Alexander Orlov said on Wednesday.
"The Syrian army picked up the second pilot," Orlov said on the French radio station Europe 1.
