Groups training in Crimea, Russia, DPR, LPR to sabotage energy, transport infrastructure in Ukraine's south - SBU
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has information about the training of saboteurs in Crimea, Russia, and in territory controlled by the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR/LPR) for terrorist attacks at power plants and transport infrastructure objects in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions in southern Ukraine.
Deputy Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine Mykhailo Hluhovsky said this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday.
"We have received credible operational information that at these training centers for sabotage and reconnaissance groups, which operate in the Russian-occupied territory of Crimea, as well as in the so-called DPR and LPR and in Rostov region of Russia, special groups are being prepared for terrorist attacks at power plants and roads and highways of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions," he said.
