Poroshenko: Euromaidan changes history of Europe and world
Euromaidan and Revolution of Dignity have changed the history of Europe and the world, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"Now we can appreciate grandeur of this event, which has changed the history of not only our state forever, but it has changed forever the history of Europe and the whole world," he said before the closed-door film show of the Winter on Fire.
Poroshenko conferred a decoration of the Ukrainian president and Hetman Ivan Mazepa Cross award to the director of the film.
The president said that people in Russia where the director of the film was born will watch the film.
