Pyatt calls to continue stand with Ukrainians in de s ire to build just European future
U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt has called continue to stand with Ukrainians in their desire to build a brighter, more just, European future on the anniversary of Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity.
"Two years ago today, a Facebook post by a young journalist sparked a series of events that culminated in Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity," he wrote on his Twitter page on Saturday.
What brought thousands onto Maidan was the Ukrainian peoples' conviction that Ukraine is Europe, he said.
"Let's continue to stand w/ Ukrainians in their desire to build a brighter, more just, European future," he wrote.
