EU Commissioner Hahn hopes for positive decision on visa-free regime with EU for Ukraine
Ukraine still needs to do a lot of work to receive a visa-free regime with the European Union, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn has said, adding that he believes that this will ultimately happen.
Speaking at an investment conference in Lviv on Thursday, the commissioner said that Ukraine was on the right track, although a lot of work remains to be done.
The EU has presented the Ukrainian authorities with clear requirements that must be met to obtain a visa-free regime, he added.
Hahn said that he hoped that at the end of this year the EU would be able to make a report and that it would be positive.
