Yatseniuk wants EU report on visa-free travel laws passed by Rada
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has instructed ministries to request a European assessment of the Ukrainian laws for introduction of visa-free travel with the European Union.
"I ask the Foreign Ministry, together with the Justice Ministry, to contact as soon as possible our European partners so that they send us a legal report on whether the legislation passed by Verkhovna Rada meets the requirements set by the EU for a report on visa-free travel introduction to be favorable," Yatseniuk told his government on Wednesday.
