Ukraine has not yet any formal Russian proposal on debt restructuring – finance minister
Ukraine's Ministry of Finance had no official proposals from Russia as of November 18 with regard to the Russian version of the debt restructuring for the amount of $3 billion in Eurobonds, which come due at the end of December 2015, the Ukrainian finance minister, Natalie Jaresko, said.
"No, Ukraine has received nothing yet," she told reporters in a short commentary in Kyiv on Wednesday and then avoided further questions.
It was reported earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed restructuring the Ukrainian Eurobond debt for three years on November 16.
The International Monetary Fund attempted to persuade Russia to agree on the postponement of repayments of the Ukrainian debt until 2016, Putin said.
